Persuasion Techniques That Don't Work--An Intro to Dark NLP.

By Dr. Anthony Taylor

As many of you already know, there are many unique types of hypnosis. Some styles of hypnosis are used to help people give up smoking, and other variations of hypnosis are used for mind control and manipulation. This is a somewhat complicated issue to address because there is often a thin line between intellect control hypnosis and Ericksonian Hypnosis

As most people already know, Ericksonian Hypnosis is the type of hypnosis that did wonders in therapeutic settings. And as we deliberate Ericksonian Hypnosis, we must also reflect on the creation of NLP. NLP was created by John Grinder and Richard Bandler, and much of there effort was based upon their findings of how the main beliefs of Ericksonian Hypnosis influenced the human mind in therapeutic environments For this reason NLP and Ericsonian Hypnosis have so many similar features, because they are related to each other to the extent that they can be considered sister arts.

Now, several years ago a man named Ross Jefferies studied NLP, and based upon everything he learned, he created speed seduction Speed Seduction taught people to use Ericksonian Hypnotic language patterns to seduce women, but this style of seduction was proven to be ineffective as many men failed in their efforts to use it. It was a consequence of their failures that other male seduction schools were founded that did not rely upon Ericksonian Language Patterns to seduce the opposite sex.

However this movement that Ross Jefferies began did not stop other people from attempting to apply the language patterns of NLP for persuasive and controlling reasons. This was the foundation of what is acknowledged as Dark NLP. Dark NLP, and literally everything that is either subtly or directly connected to it, has did not succeed more than anything else in history in the art of influencing other peopleand getting what you want. Dark NLP simply is not effective, and there are many reasons why it doesn't work. For one, there needs to be an conventional clinical background in order for the hypnosis techniques and ideology of NLP to be useful. For example, the shark is tremendously dominant, but you can't remove the shark from the ocean and expect it to be dominate. This identical theory applies to Conversational Hypnosis.

When Dark NLP was created, the founders who were using it were attempting to use the power of Ericksonian hypnosis techniques outside of the clinical settings where NLP was successful. This simply didn't happen then, it won't work now, and it can't work in the years to come. This means that several "persuasion gurus" are not promoting the proper tools and persuasion techniques to the heaps of students who are listening to them. So, the only people whom Dark NLP does any good for are the deceptive "leaders" who are promoting it as if it were something that was linked to hypnotic brain control. - 31955
